1.

What is our return policy?

Returns are Simple. We want you to be happy with your purchase and we have tried  to describe our jewelry and antiques as accurately as possible. Any major flaws have been disclosed in our product descriptions. Please keep in mind these are antiques and most have been used. The use and antique age adds to the intrinsic value. 

Your complete satisfaction and return business is our ultimate goal. All we request is a timely notification from you within 48 hours of receipt that you wish to return. 

Just simply return your merchandise in the same condition as received-carefully packed, shipped, and insured in the same manner as sent-and received within 10 days. Returns received after 10 days of your notice of intent to return will incur a 25% restocking fee.

A refund check (or credit if you paid by credit card), excluding shipping and handling, will be sent to you within 72 hours after we receive your package back into our inventory.

Returning Diamonds and Precious Stones  Jewelry returns involving diamonds and precious or semi precious gems, platinum, gold and silver will be verified by a qualified gemologist or metal test before credit will be issued. It is unfortunate that a small percentage of buyers cause problems for the vast majority who are honest. All of our diamonds have been checked for authenticity. We do not guarantee a certain grade or quality unless accompanied by an appraisal. However, any obvious flaws will be noted on the description.

Can you do an appraisal or a value estimate?


We are unable to do appraisals due to the volume of requests and our time limits involved in answering each one. We will consider a consignment fee for representing the sale of your vintage jewelry, designer jewelry, estate jewelry or small antiques. For your own research you will find many excellent reference books available for purchase or you can take advantage of your local library. In addition there are many sites on line dedicated to reference of vintage costume jewelry, estate jewelry, designer signed  jewelry in addition to other antiques.

What are your shipping policies?


We ship Insured, First Class and Priority Mail within the United States on small items and jewelry. High value items and very fragile glass items may be sent 2 day air when we feel it is necessary to protect the item by another method of shipping. You will not be charged extra under these circumstances.  Please email me if you have a special request such as express or rush delivery or would prefer your shipment to be shipped by another method. We strive to keep down your shipping costs. Our shipping levels on check-out include insurance for your item.  Please e-mail  before you order if you have any questions on shipping. Your order will normally ship in three to seven days.

International buyers , we have shipping restrictions to certain countries due to insurance regulations. Please see below. We ship internationally by U.S.P.S. Global Express  in order to have insurance coverage to protect your purchase. Our shipping levels on check out are built around the value and insurance coverage of your item and an average shipping cost around the world.  We welcome your business and will strive in every way to make your purchase a pleasant one and oversee that you safely receive your package. If you have any questions on shipping or your shipping fees, please feel free to email us. We will try in every way to provide you with outstanding customer service.

Customs: We do understand the hardship of import tax and duties , however these taxes are set by your individual countries. We are not responsible for these taxes or random  checks on your packages. Please consider the taxes that may be imposed on you when you make your purchase.

We are sorry, however we cannot ship to the following countries:
Afghanistan, Iran, Angola, Iraq, Bangladesh, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Burma, Rwanda, Burundi, Seychelles, Congo, Slovenia, Cuba, Sudan, Ethiopia, Syria, India, Yemen, Indonesia, Nigeria.

Can I pay by check or money order instead of credit cards?


Personal checks, Cashiers checks and USPS money orders will be accepted. Your order will be held until the check, cashiers check or money order has cleared through our bank.  Items will be placed on hold no longer than 7 days while waiting arrival of your payment to us by mail. After 7 days, they will be placed back in our active sale inventory. Please mail your payments promptly and e-mail us when they are on their way. You may want to consider using your credit card and paying through Paypal or our regular credit card secure site. If you want to use Paypal simply click Paypal. If you are new at Paypal simply follow their easy navigation for new registration.

International Buyers: Please pay by International Money order in U.S. Dollars or International Western Union Money Order in U.S. Dollars. Please contact us by email if your order will total over $1,000 to check on your shipping, insurance and payment method.

Paypal is our preferred payment method. Paypal is easy to use  just by following their simple instructions. If you have never used Paypal before, it's easy to register with just your  email address. If you have any problems contact us by email and we will gladly help.

Note:
Returned checks will incur a $35.00 fee paid in order to get your item shipped. Once a check is returned , you will be required to submit a USPS money order instead of a check along with the $35.00 returned check fee.



5.

What do I do if I am over the maximum check-out limit?


For large orders over $1500 we require wire transfers. Contact us by email to procede further with your order. It is  possible, after receiving more information, we can proceed with your order through our regular check-out system. We welcome your business and want your transaction to proceed smoothly. However, we must be careful handling large transactions for our protection  as well as yours.

What about my privacy?


Your personal information is safe with us. We will never reveal any of your information or sell to a third party. Our online store and checkout is a secure site. We have been  a verified merchant and buyer with Paypal for many years.

In addition your entry into our Treasure Hunt will only be used for entry into the contest. No information will be given out to a third party. Your email information will not be used for mailing lists or otherwise.


7.

Do you buy jewelry and antiques?


Yes, of course, we are constantly buying to replenish our inventory. Please send us an e-mail with a short description of your item, pictures, and your price. We will be back in touch with you after reviewing all of the information.


8.

Do you offer a Layaway plan?


Any item more than $300.00 can be placed on Layaway for 60 days. The first payment equaling one third of the purchase price excluding tax or shipping must be paid within 7 days. This is a non-refundable deposit. The next one third must be paid within 30 days of the initial purchase date. The final payment must be made within 60 days of the initial purchase date. Layaways can be canceled with no penalty within the first 48 hours. Payments not paid within the 60 day period will be in default and previous payments with the exception of the non-refundable deposit will be assessed a 50% penalty. This is due to the length of time the item is out of our for sale inventory. The item at that point will be placed back in our inventory for sale. We are offering Layaway as a courtesy to our customers and hope that you will seriously consider the agreement you are accepting.

Layaway buyers will be sent a confirmation e-mail showing their initial payment and each subsequent payment until the final payment is made. No returns on Layaway items.

Contact us by e-mail when you wish to make a Layaway purchase. We will need your complete address and phone number at that time.
